Our Story
Bhadohi district is the carpet capital of India — responsible for over 60% of the country's handmade carpet exports. For generations, families here have woven flatweave dhurries and hand-knotted carpets using techniques passed down over centuries. The GI-tagged "Handmade Carpet of Bhadohi" is recognized worldwide.
We work directly with established exporters in the Bhadohi cluster who hold GoodWeave and Care & Fair certifications, ensuring no child labor and fair wages for adult artisans.
Moonj grass (Saccharum munja) grows wild in the wetlands around Prayagraj. For nearly 200 years, women have harvested, dried, and woven it into baskets, trays, and containers — using almost no tools, just their hands and generational knowledge.
Under the One District One Product (ODOP) scheme, moonj craft is the designated product of Prayagraj district. We work directly with women's Self-Help Groups (SHGs) who manage production, quality, and delivery — ensuring fair income reaches the artisans themselves.
Both products come from within an 80 km radius of Prayagraj. We maintain on-ground quality control, coordinate production schedules, manage documentation, and handle export logistics — so importers get the reliability of a professional partner with the authenticity of direct artisan sourcing.
